Where the office is
The Mary Tours office is at Calle 61 #518-B, between 62 and 64, Centro Histórico, 97000 Mérida, Yucatán, a few blocks from the Plaza Grande. Mérida's city government describes its historic center as the second largest in Mexico, so being right downtown has a practical upside: if you're staying in the area, the office is a short walk away.
Every tour leaves from that office. If your accommodation is on the way to the tour or in the center, they can also pick you up; you arrange it on WhatsApp when you book.
What it offers
The catalogue has two kinds of service:
- Day tours, with a guide and almost everything taken care of: Chichén Itzá with Izamal and Valladolid, Chichén Itzá by Maya Train, the Santa Bárbara cenotes, Hacienda Mucuyché, Izamal with cenotes, Celestún, Sisal, Las Coloradas and Río Lagartos, the North Coast and Isla Columpios, plus the long trips to Bacalar, Isla Mujeres and Tulum.
- Private transfers: an air-conditioned van and driver so you can plan your own day at Uxmal, Chichén Itzá, Celestún, Izamal and Santa Bárbara, the north coast, Las Coloradas, Isla Mujeres or Holbox.
Mary Tours works with certified guides in Spanish and English and keeps departures small so the day doesn't feel like a crowd.
How booking works
- Pick your tour and check the itinerary, what's included and what's extra. It's all written down before you decide.
- Message on WhatsApp: the booking button opens a chat with your request already filled in. Availability is confirmed the same day.
- Secure your spot with at least 50% of the tour price or the full amount. The balance is paid on the day.
From this page, bookings are for groups of 4 or more, and Bacalar, Isla Mujeres and Tulum come with a per-person discount coupon.
Payment options
- Credit or debit card, with a card terminal at the office.
- Bank transfer or deposit to any Mexican bank.
- Cash, at the office or when boarding on the day.
- OXXO, with a payment reference.
- PayPal, from any country, in pesos or dollars.
- Revolut, for travelers with a European account.
If you need an invoice (factura), ask for it when you book.
What to check before booking any tour
Mexico's consumer protection agency, Profeco, reminds travelers that an agency must clearly tell you what the package includes, how long it lasts, the total price, payment, deposit and refund terms, cancellation policies and, where relevant, the minimum group size. Mexico's General Tourism Law also recognizes your right to useful, accurate and truthful information in advance, and to receive services under the agreed conditions.
In practice: get what's included and what isn't confirmed in writing, keep the receipt for your deposit and ask about the cancellation policy. At Mary Tours, all of that is published on each tour page and on its booking and cancellation page.
