Yucatán for European travelers: how to plan your trip from Mérida

For European travelers, Mérida is a comfortable base for exploring Yucatán: you can book day trips on WhatsApp, pay Mary Tours with Revolut or PayPal, and reach Maya ruins, cenotes, flamingo reserves and the Caribbean without changing hotels. Many Europeans visit in winter, when the weather is cooler and flamingo season peaks in Celestún.
