Tourist transportation in Mérida: getting around the city and out into Yucatán

Tourist transportation in Mérida comes down to four options: a taxi or bus from the airport, the Va y Ven system within the city, the Maya Train to connect with other stations and, for day trips, tours with transportation included or vans with a driver. For places like cenotes, haciendas or the coast, a tour or private transfer is the most practical choice.
